On the 9th of September a young lady called Caitlin Suttie and her Mum and Dad organised a fete with the proceeds going to Greyhound Rescue Fife. She collected the most amazing total of £800 for our rescue dogs - isn't that marvellous. Everybody at Greyhound Rescue Fife - especially the lucky dogs thank Caitlin and her family.
She came to the kennels recently to present us with her cheque and we discovered that she had unfortunately fallen from her horse and broken her leg. We all wish her a speedy recovery.
Here is a photo of Caitlin presenting the cheque to Celia and Jimmy. Thank you very much Caitlin.
That is a phenomenal amount of money to raise for the hounds - Caitlin clearly has an extraordinary talent for organising events! Hope the leg mends well and soon - it can seem to take an age so you have my sympathy.
