I bought Lola a pair of pyjamas to keep her warm through the winter nights. However I felt the back legs were a bit long and she was getting her legs out so I rolled them up. I’ve only put them on her on the coldest nights, so maybe half a dozen times. I put them on her last night and this morning found her all tangled up in them, with one back leg out and the material stretched over her back. When I tried to take them off, I got such a fright as I couldn’t get them over her head, they were so tight. I couldn’t understand at first what had happened, then realised that somehow she had got her head through the loose leg, it was so tight round her neck I had to cut it off. I was really concerned that she could have been strangled by them. I’ll never put anything like that on her again during the night when I’m not there in case she gets into trouble. Just wanted to share this in case anyone else has bought pyjamas for their dogs or are thinking of getting them.
