This Sundays walk - Lochore Meadows, Lochgelly

The second of the 2018 GRF walks will take place at Lochore Meadows, Lochgelly at 12:00 on Sunday 8th April.

Greyhound Rescue Fife hold monthly walks on the second Sunday of the month starting at 12:00. These walks are an excellent opportunity for dogs and their owners to socialise, and to raise awareness for the rescue.

All dogs must remain on fixed leads at all times, and the two leggers need to pick any thing their four leggers drop on the way. Please watch out for other dogs that may well be off their leads on the walk, and please watch out for traffic moving about the car park.

Please try to remember that not all of the dogs or their two leggers are as quick on their feet as they once were, so please do not go charging off into the distance, and please allow for regrouping at strategic places so that we can all enjoy the walk together.

This is one of the longer walks of the year - nearly 5 miles for the whole circuit. We will therefore be running two walks within the walk. Myself and Boss and will take the complete circuit (an anti-clockwise route around the Loch), whilst Julie and Kell will lead a shorter walk alongside the Loch but returning back to the car park early.

We will also have tickets available for the GRF Dog Show at the bargain advance price of £4 (they are £5 on the day)

Great weather and a great turnout for today's walk.
