KINROSS CHRISTMAS MARKET

Celia and Jimmy wish to thank all the brave stalwarts on Saturday who spent over three hours in atrocious weather raising money for the homeless greyhounds.
Well over £400 was raised so far - a mammoth effort.
Special thanks go to Christine and her husband who did the sterling organisation for the event.
Many thanks also to our small group of well known volunteers who braved the weather.
On an unfortunate note every single GRF person wishes Bert McCurdy a speedy recovery from the nasty injury that he received carrying the tent, with his son in law Hector, back to the kennels. Very best wishes from us all Bert.

Re: KINROSS CHRISTMAS MARKET

In spite of the weather it was fun to help on the stand. Amazing that so many people came out in the rain to the market. £400+ is a tidy sum to have raised. Best wishes to Bert.

Re: KINROSS CHRISTMAS MARKET

The market is becoming a pre-Christmas GRF tradition and a very valuable addition to funds and greyhound awareness.
Bert, I was so sorry to hear about your injury from Celia on Monday - it must really hurt.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery and kisses from wee Star (not so wee now!), who will always remember her uncle Bert for bringing her from the vets in Kilmarnock to the safety of GRF and her new life. xx
