As the first heat wave of the year hits the area, it's time not only to hit the forest trails in a loincloth.
I enjoyed some short hikes, in the early morning or at least before noon, when few people are around, barefoot and in just a breechcloth, on narrow footpaths in the lush green forest. The leaf trees have fared better during the recent years with overall to less rainfall, than the conifers.
