Like I said, I made myself one of those fine loincloths like from that movie.
For a long time I couldn't figure how all the folds came together but once I figured it out it was pretty easy. Now I just wear it while sitting on my porch. Very refreshing.

It wouldn't look like much if I showed a photo.
I will say it works like this. The part that comes up the front goes around the waist and ties in a small knot behind the back. The back part goes over that and around the waist and ties in the front. Simple and too the point.

Is your loincloth based on this one from the film?

Yes, that's the one. Also the same kind they wear in The Giant of Marathon. Mine is a little less baggy than the one Hercules is wearing but in Jason and the Argonauts but I think I figured out how it folds and ties so that it knots together in the front.
For all I know it might not be the exact same way it's tied in those movies but it seems to work so I'm happy with it.
