Mowgli: The New Adventures of The Jungle Book is a Costa Rican-Canadian contemporary tv adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli Stories. The loincloth wearing Mowgli, plus his two friends Bagheera and Baloo, are joined by Nahbiri and her doctor father on their adventures in both Seoni and Jabalpur. It does have a German dvd release though, but not an English one.
