The Z grade misadventures of Golden Films’ Tarzan of the Apes (1999)
Tarzan of the Apes is an unofficial adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan of the Apes by seasoned kids’ schlock and short documentary studio Golden films. As with Greystoke (1984), it revolves around the childhood and feats of a muscly loincloth wearing Tarzan himself, while the goofy apes who raise him in this variant are actually anthropomorphic chimpanzees under the ‘Mangani’ moniker. It has both a dvd release on Amazon and a Tubi page.
