Jungle King Tar-Chan is an anime series based on a popular adults' manga parody duology by Masaya Tokuhiro. It has a dvd release on Amazon Japan and Mandarake. Tar-Chan is a henpecked pro-wrestler househusband, who turns out to be a hidden backup prince wearing a skimpy loincloth ala Ron Ely. His wife Jane is a rather bossy woman who at least tries something awesome to make him work harder. Two of their family friends are Etekichi the chimpanzee and a mountain gorilla named Gori.
