Shen Ming Zhi Zhou, The Totem Warrior: loincloths in animation
Hi there, I’ll introduce you to the Chinese animation show The Totem Warrior (神明之胄, Shen Ming Zhi Zhou). It’s about a team of diverse heroic teens in ancient China, one of which (a long haired pretty boy!) has a Chinese style loincloth. https://theilluminerdi.com/2021/05/29/totem-warrior-chinese-anime/
It’s otherwise an alright show, but the animation’s rather poor, and the plot sometimes gets a bit too tiring because it’s not good enough to compete with that of Nippon Animation’s Jungle Book adaptation. https://youtu.be/jngcoi7Jxo8?feature=shared

Interesting! I hadn't heard of that anime before.
Also, as animated Jungle Book adaptations go, let me recommend the Soyuzmultfilm version from the late 1960s -- https://youtu.be/Tybu1Ni5jz0 -- which does a better job than most of following the source material.
