My husband and I have been checking out the land auctions in your area also, and we're very interested. Even though we should have enough money to build our home, we will still need - gack - jobs. What's out there? We saw some stats that didn't tell us much. My husband works with seniors and I work with the disabled. Any ideas /websites we can go to search out the possibilities?

You might check out the Chamber of Commerce website since it has information on businesses in the area and on relocating. I know there are a couple of "retirement" homes in the area. The Oregon Employment Department also keeps job listings online. The local paper also runs job openings.
