Also,a huuuge Clash(and The Jam)fan!Several months back,I bought the remastered version of Sandinista! on CD(w/original artwork)to get myself re-acquainted with it(and also to console myself from having an original London Calling button ripped off from my jacket in my host's closet while a guest of his(a 40 yr.old schmuck,btw.Geez,some people never 'get' it,do they?)and boy,talk about a daring,experimental non-commercial slice of truth that rings ever truer in these nasty,evil troubled times.Highly recommended.Not as accessible as London Calling,but as intense.Sort of their White Album,if you may..
Joe Strummer,especially, really did/does it for me.
