I was wondering if any of you North Carolinians(and anybody else fortunately to have done so) saw the fab Czech/Slovak Beatles tribute group,the Backwards when they played a couple of shows in Raleigh-Durham and Chapel Hill this past Autumn or maybe have heard of them.They're personal friends of mine and I introduced them to their U.S. manager,Robert Daniel of Goldsboro last year.It was a match from heaven.Anyway,the winners of the '98 and 2003 NY BeatleFest just got their 11 month visas to perform in the States and will fly over in May 2005 to headline Abbey Road on the River in friendly Louisville,Ky along with other dates.I feel honored to have played a small but crucial part in bringing them over to the States.Check out arguably the world's best Beatles tribute group live or at their website Developer@thebackwards.sk.
