Chris Stamey Interview

The new issue of Jack Rabid's "The Big Takeover" has a super interview with Chris Stamey (part one is in the new issue--part two will be in next issue). For those who have never ckecked out this magazine, it should be a must-read for any music fanatics. Jack does an exhaustive job four times a year. His music knowledge and overall enthusiasm is amazing. Big Takeover can usually be found at Borders. Check out the website for other locations.

Re: Chris Stamey Interview

If I can engage in a shameless plug for a moment, my interview with Chris ran in the most recent edition of Pop Culture Press. Robyn Hitchcock is on the cover. You should be able to check it out at a finer Borders Books and Music near you.
It's also worth picking up for my stellar interview (if I do say myself) with Tortoise. But PCP is a fine magazine (as is the Big Takeover, of course!).

Re: Re: Chris Stamey Interview

I was actually about to suggest checking out PCP too. I work at a Borders right now so it makes it a bit easier to keep up on cool magazines and such.

Good job by the way.

Re: Chris Stamey Interview

John--belated congrats on both excellent interviews!!! With Tortoise, you did that trickiest of things: getting your own voice in there while not overwhelming the subject. And thanks, guys, for introducing me to the magazine. I'll check out the Big Takeover next, i promise! So much to read, so little time....
