Hello again. It's me (not Todd Rundgren...) and I've been a big fan of the dB's for years. Actually, came late to the show. After hearing "Mavericks" (and seeing H&S at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis) I had to go back to the dB's and their catalog. Remember purchasing "Repercussion" on vinyl and then all the others. Needless to say, I discovered the best band of the 80's circa '92. Remember seeing Will when he was playing with Cheri Knight and telling him from one drummer to the next, that he was one of my favorites. (He even seemed a bit bemused I named our golden retriever "Rigby".) I've seen Will play with many great artists including his latest run with Steve Earle. Obviously he's doing alright. But I still feel like Will's 'day job' remains with the dB's!! Damn, along with Mr. Holder, the chops are right on with this new tune. Just beam everytime I hear it. So without further adieu, welcome back guys. Look forward to the Chicago show and feel free to release any other new tunes on the site. Record labels yet?

I meant to call "Will Rigby (and the dB's!!) the title of the post. Sorry for that confusion!!

The dB's FIRST reunion show will be at the Hideout Block Party in Chicago on Saturday September 17. They will be playing around 6 p.m. They will be the main event. Other bands performing that day will be The Redwalls, The M's, Eleventh Dream Day, Sam Roberts Band (from Canada) and others. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 to $15.

11th Dream Day are back together? Wow, I had no idea. It's been almost 20 years since I last saw them.

Any chance anyone might know the start time for the Redwalls' set? Hopefully there will be time to catch them and still make it over to the HOB for the second dBs show. If you haven't seen the Redwalls live yet, they are really something. Trust me fellow dBs fans, this band will knock you out, or at least freak you out. They sure did the first time I saw them live! :) I've been a big fan since. Getting a chance to catch them live would be some icing on the cake on what's already shaping up to be a pretty amazing and historic day!
