Thoughts on renunions and aging

I have to say I had my doubts about spending money on a plane ticket to travel to Chicago from Missouri just to see a band that was a big part of my young adulthood in NYC. Not that I didn't think the music would be great.. I knew it would be great! But because of that old adage from the Thomas Wolfe book: you can't go home again.

We've all gotten a few gray hairs since the 80's, but the band was sleek and trim and played their hearts out. We may not be able to go home again, but I'm here to say that the dB's Chicago sets made this aging boomer feel a little better about getting old.
