Since the last batch of posts was regarding the Hootie tour, I wanted to update everyone that Darius Rucker has been undergoing painful and serious knee surgeries, recovery from which has necessitated Hootie and the Blowfish postponing the first dates of our Summer 2007 tour. The dates will be rescheduled. We send our love and wishes for a speedy recovery his way.

Thanks for the update, Peter. I believe Hootie cancelling shows is unprecedented and I know it's not something they take lightly. Good to know that health comes first and I join you whole-heartedly in wishing Darius a thorough and quick recovery!

Looking forward to hearing you and the Boys tear it up (with a slightly different spin on things...?) once everyone is 'good to go' again. The California sun is always helpful! :)
