The dB's opened the show in great style with "Fall on Me" (Chris and Peter trading off vocals, Chris in that spread-leg pose like the photo above!). They were joined by Don Dixon and the great cellist Jane Scarpantoni. A pretty faithful rendition though with a little slowed-down segment toward the end. Such a thrill to see the guys on that great stage! And with all the acts that followed: Bob Mould, the Feelies, Vic Chestnutt, Patti Smith, Calexico, etc. etc., it was really a fantastic night.
