I personally took pleasure in this time spent on your website which I recognized to be beautifully built and presented, I shall definately be calling back again continually to check out how it's proceeding as well as draft some extra reviews if that might help. I have just returned from my vacation in Spain, we had been visiting Cabo Roig, a particular favourite of mine, and required cheering up after going through the post-vacation blues, so locating your impressive website was clearly the tonic I needed to perk me up and get back in the swing of things. My getaways in Spain (and Cabo Roig particularly) consistently gets the energy energized which helps us prepare for another year ahead, the difficulty being that getting back home sees us a little miserable and fed up. Searching the online world for some exciting sites is typically my answer which means coming across your site really was a tremendous aid in recovering from the Cabo Roig gloom. It is always terrific to see a website that's well planned and nicely displayed, that we thought your one to be most certainly and I'm positive that it's fantastic for you to comprehend if someone else has appreciated their experience as well as understand that your time and effort was not wasted in developing it. Subsequently the next occasion we return from Spain, I will understand the finest place to go for a reviver. Thanks.

Hi,
I spent 2yrs 1972/4 at 132 Pannal ash road. I remember the tripod/witches hat at the back as well as the hobby hut. The governor was Mr Niven. I lived in several of the properties, most notable, the one on the farthest right, had a huge sailing boat outside. The carers were as i knew them, auntie Pam & uncle Edwin. Very interested in any info whatsoever to bring back the good old memories.

I was really interested to hear comments made by people who used to live at 132 Pannel Ash Road when it was a branch of the NCH - I was taken there as a baby in 1950 and lived at No 6 where Sister Flora took care of me for the first fourteen years of my life. I remember two lovely german girls who had been sent over from Germany during the war. I think one of them was called Hanalore. Mr Roycroft was the principal in the early fifties, followed by Mr Wicks some years later ...... I would love to hear from anyone who lived at the NCH during those years.

Very interesting photos, but would like to know where you got the picture of the roundabout proposal map. It is difficult to see and I would like to find a better picture to study.

Please read the " Soldier and the Sergeant " story at WWW.imagesofyorkshire.co.uk and help me find the lady in the tweed suit. The stories are about my escapades and the deplorable conditions in the British army 1946-1949.

My hobby is family history and I have a lot of ancestors from the Pannal/Pannal Ash area. I was using a search engine to find information on the area when I came across this site which gives me photographs past and present. Keep up the good work
