Kerry had a wonderful day at Glamis last Saturday with John and our two cockers, Millie and Megan.
When we got out of the car she was very frightened of the gunshots and of the loud barking of other dogs. However, I stood quietly with her for about ten minutes and just let her look round the arena. After that nothing fazed her (although I did not let her see the ferrets!) She paid no attention to any of the other dogs even the ones which were in her face!
We were impressed by her patience as we moved round the stalls and by the way she accepted the attention from passing adults and children. She thoroughly enjoyed our picnic and the many biscuits from Bert's stall. The highlight was the icecream cone which she demolished in an Olympic record of three seconds!
Well done, Kerry
