Jilly Cooper the well known authoress who knows Greyhound Rescue Fife well has just lost Feather, one of her two greyhounds.
He is buried at the bottom of her garden beside her other pets and his epitaph reads " Dear Feather, your heart was bound to give out since you have given so much of it away "
Very, very sad but what a loving thing to say.

Always sad news for anyone who loses a greyhound, they are somehow beyond dogs in the way that they bond with us.
Was it not Jilly Cooper or a friend of hers who rehomed the wonderful Wilma (Isla) of TV fame? I recall a beautiful photo in bluebells.
