Does anyone have trouble finding the newsletter or anything else on the site for that matter? I try to make the website as user friendly as I possibly can, without using those annoying drop down menus or other modern flashy stuff, but I will always appreciate feedback. I thought the newsletter was easy enough to find, just click Newsletter, 10th button down on the left, and then the issue you want to read, but if anyone has any ideas or complaints about how it could be better, please email me and I'll have a look at any suggestions.
John.
We LOVE your newsletters, Bootsie, and you have trained Susan so well in the publishing department. They will be forever a marvellous record of the trials and triumphs that make GRF the wonderful organisation it is, so you should be very proud of that. Praise where it is due, even if you did pull Mummy Mo and Celia off their feet!
Jimmy, I do, of course, remember Freddie and the Dreamers very well. 'You belong to me' could well be the anthem for rehomed greyhounds as they have an uncanny way of taking ownership of their new 'owners'!
On a sadder note, Kim is increasingly struggling with his back legs. He's on Synoquin joint therapy and painkillers, the latest of which, Gabapentin, helped relieve the pain and let him sleep but seemed to affect his motor function, so he found it difficult to stand without support. His fleecy PJ's are a boon, as they allow me to help him up and support him. He starts on an alternative, Tramadol, tomorrow. They all seem to have side effects of some sort. Like most great athletes, there's a toll to pay in later life.
Hi Susan,
Hope Bootsie is feeling calmer after his firework stress - you and Mo need to move to the country!
Kim is much better on his new medication so we can hopefully keep him going for a while longer. Like all old folk, he's a mixture of completely exasperating and heartrendingly endearing.
See you @ St Andrews,
Marion
