The original George of the Jungle is a tv show segment which was made by Jay Ward Productions in 1967, when Disney’s The Jungle Book was released. As a parody of old jungle movies, it centers around a loincloth wearing klutz named George and his partners in crime, redhead Ursula and a gorilla simply nicknamed Ape, plus their other friends Tookie the bird and Shep the elephant.
