Photo by Robert Matheu of Johnny Ramone

Dearest db's ~ I've been on this quest to find the LARGE, COLOR photo of Johnny Ramone's eulogy photo (1948-2004) - I know you guys probably have nothing to do with Robert Matheu's photos, BUT in case you do I've spend several months searching for this photo taken by him and was displayed at the Ramones Official Website when Johhny died. I had it on my desktop for MONTHS until my computer CRASHED, and crashed very badly - so bad I couldn't get in to copy my photo of Johnny. I have found actually found this leetle, teeny photo, and one a little big bigger... but in black and white - but I'm wasting a good deal of my life searching on the Internet looking for this photo. IF you know Robert Matheu, and IF he could ever receive this message... well, maybe he can tell me where to retrieve it? I know it's a long shot, but you guys are the closest I've come to mentioning his name in a chatty way, as if you know him.

Thanks to the someone who might actually read this, and even bigger thanks if anyone knows what I might even be talking about!!!

I'd be funny but I just realized that it's the middle of the night and my sense of humor has already beaten me to bed. Sincere thanks and best wishes to all of you! Signed by your fan, Zelda

Re: Photo by Robert Matheu of Johnny Ramone

I believe Bob Matheu's a good friend of Chrissie Hynde as well as ace pretenders fan.You might try contacting him via TalkOfTheTown@yahoogroups.com.
I'll ask my fellow P's fan Maureen here in Louisville as well.Adrian
ps I'm off to catch a Glenn Tilbrook gig in Lexington,Ky tomorrow night.
Any Squeeze/Glenn fans out there? Peter?

Re: Photo by Robert Matheu of Johnny Ramone

Saw Glenn play here in Hoboken a couple of months ago and he is a true entertainer. Plays all the Squeeze songs you'd want to hear, great stage banter, and at the end wandered through the crowd (standing on chairs that he had audience members moving around) for "Black Coffee in Bed" and a few others.

Of course, I'd STILL rather see a reunited Squeeze. But i think he is going to work with Mr. Difford???
