Radio Free Hoboken is on the air

My fellow dB's fans,

Internet station "Radio Free Hoboken" is now on the air in all its lo-fi glory:

http://hoboken.merklee.com

The spotlight is on the 80s underground through a Hoboken lens: Artists-in-residence (Yo La Tengo, The dB's, The Feelies, The Bongos, The Individuals) and artists passing through (Robyn Hitchcock, The Replacements, Husker Du, Throwing Muses, Pixies), along with a helping of their musical influences and kindred spirits. If we saw it at Maxwell's, bought it at Pier Platters, heard it on WFMU or WDRE, read about it in Jersey Beat, or watched it on U68 or The Cutting Edge, you'll find it here.

It's monophonic. It's updated weekly. Hope you'll check it out.

Anxiously awaiting the new dB's CD,

Bill

Any contemporary Hobokenites invited?

Re: Radio Free Hoboken is on the air

Great Station!!!
Wonderful to hear all my favorite srtists. I have such great memories of going to Maxwells and of the "Hoboken scene". I'm so happy that my favorite artists are still around in 2005 making their best music...The Cucumbers, Richard Barone, and now The db's!!!
