"pulled the plug" at the reunion show is an understatement. The planned two song encore was shortened to a "half" encore. Due to the show running late, overzealous union workers had the lights switched on and the power to the amps and stage cut. The dB's tried to do "Amplifier" but gave up half the way through. It's a shame because "Excitement" was slated for the second song. The evening ended with the dB's walking off stage and one of their assistants getting into a (verbal) fight with one of the union guys. What had been a great concert to benefit Charlotte's homeless (the event was tagged "Gimmie Shelter") ended on a somewhat sour note.
