two NYC area shows, Sept. 30 fest. and a "secret" one on Oct. 1

Sunday, September 30, 2007 - 11am to 6pm

The 14th annual Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival
Sunday, September 30, 2007 - 11am to 6pm

Admission is FREE

Gene and I are going to play at 1:40 p.m. that afternoon.

We're planning on doing some of the earliest dB's songs, including the first single, as well as stuff from my first solo records and some surprises, too.

From the press release:

The group's lineup consists of Anton Fier (Feelies, Golden Palominos, Pere Ubu), Graham Maby (Joe Jackson, Natalie Merchant, They Might Be Giants), Matt McMichaels (Mayflies USA), James Mastro (Bongos, Health and Happiness Show) and special guest Gene Holder (dB's). Additional guests are likely to appear, considering Stamey's bank of Hoboken pals. Playing songs from his earliest recordings, both with the dB's and solo.

Washington St. - Observer Highway to 7th St.

Featuring three stages of live music (see schedule on next page) and over 300 artists, sculptors, photographers and craftspeople

This year our musical lineup features members of many rock bands that helped create what was known in the early 1980s as the "Hoboken Sound," including The Bongos who have recently reissued their critically acclaimed debut Drums Along the Hudson with new tracks produced by Moby.
The event is presented in coordination with the Hoboken Historical Museum's retrospective of the city's storied musical past. (Hoboken Tunes: Our Musical Heritage, July 29 – December 23) hobokenmuseum.org
