I know this is probably a well-worn topic, but we need the Sound of Music reissued. Do you guys own the rights? Can it be digitized and available online? I haven't heard it since my original tape copy got eaten about ten years ago!

Sorry, no, we don't own the rights to The Sound of Music. It sits in the vast wasteland of the I.R.S. catalog, deep in the bowels of EMI's sub-sub-basement. The nice folks at Collectors' Choice are probably doing everything they can to try to find it and get the rights to a reissue, but I would not hold my breath that it'll be anytime soon.

I wish we could rectify this situation, as I know people would love to get ahold of that album again.

I'm in a similar situation. My Sound of Music cd was stolen from my car. Well, the cd was--I still have the cd case. Any chance I can pay you go get a copy made? There's a hole in my life where your cd used to be!
