Gallery: Buckskin breechclout, flint-pointed lance, and loose locks
This is the narrower of two long buckskin breechclouts that I wear. It is held up with a braided buckskin cord, and accompanied by woodlands centre-seam buckskin moccasins, silver hoop earrings, Bear claw necklace, my long, flowing locks...and my trusty lance.

Well, the traditional option is shorter and more of a rectangular thing. (Many Lakota men actually fought naked except for a belt and some pouches, too.) Still, it works.

Hmm, I may have to look out for bears in the woods there... :-)
Seriously though, that is some good-looking gear! I'd be tempted to get a breechcloth like that myself, but buckskin is a bit more than I've been willing to spend.
