Re: The Mischief of Akim comics

Thank you for posting this, I was unaware of most of these titles.

Re: The Mischief of Akim comics

I was going to add, before we were so rudely interrupted by spammers, that there are also many prehistoric/post-apocalyptic European titles that might be worth checking out. The ones that immediately leap to mind are Rahan (http://www.rahan.org/fr/index.html), Tounga (https://www.bedetheque.com/serie-8003-BD-Tounga-Cartonnee.html), Waki (https://www.forumpimpf.net/wikipimpf/index.php?title=Waki), Henga (also known as Yor the Hunter, yes, as in the Reb Brown movie) (https://loscomicsdemachete.blogspot.com/2016/10/henga-la-gran-ilusion.html), Kronos (https://www.forumpimpf.net/wikipimpf/index.php?title=Kronos), and several others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

There were also a *lot* of Tarzan/Korak comics, mainly by Spanish and Yugoslavian artists, that were never reprinted in the US. Bane Kerac is arguably the best of them (https://www.erbzine.com/mag58/5850.html); his line work is up there with Manning and Hogarth.

Re: The Mischief of Akim comics

thank you for letting comic fans like myself know about these titles, I'm really enjoying discovering some great cover art

And here's the English part of that Rahan site (since the little link at the bottom of the French page is easy to overlook): https://www.rahan.org/uk/.

And thanks for sharing these, dscomicfan! 😎
