Looking up Roger Sampson

I had been a student of Mr Sampson’s at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design, 1968-1972.
He was my History of Art teacher.
I would think of that time and the different students and teachers and could never remember his name. Suddenly, the other day it came to me.
One thing I recall, feeling quite honored was when he admired a life drawing I had done and asked if he could have it.
