As I was clearing out the remaining Tansy off our North Tongass property, an annual event, Viewing the adjacent properties some State and others private, recalling yet another annual effort by the U.S.Forest Service to eradicate this plant. What is the status of the all out attack formulated by this agency on this Plant. ? It was noted a small group plucking about one day. Was that it? Is there a count on the number of dead deer contributed to the consumption of Tansy? With the really large number of deer this year, one would expect to see some affected. Somebody said that the Forest Service wants to eradicate Foxglove and Fireweed. Really? A.M.Johnson |
